Trash I was, trash I will be.
“It was supposed to be a photo for a fashion movie. “
In a way, the costume reveals our body more than it conceals. It acts here as a chameleon skin in the Anthropocene. It is made out of plastic which makes us sticky and sweaty. It’s like a science fiction movie that would have become real… not so comfortable in the end.
At this precise moment, the body escapes and flies away. Floating, dreamlike, a little above contemporary anxieties. The clothing, the style, allows an escape beyond the real, a transfiguration in search of our intimate identity.
